Organisation "Donji Dorćol" was founded by people who live and work in the area from Gundulićev Venac Street, through Solunska Street, Dubrovačka Street, and all the way to Jevrejska Street in the heart of Belgrade in Dorćol. Our primary goal is to preserve and develop the urban spirit of the Donji Dorćol! We are little tired of the dust that covered part of our city and we want to give our contribution and energy so that Donji Dorćol can acquire more beautiful parks (all of them were designed 40 years ago) and more green and renewable energy. We want our facades to be renovated; graffiti supporting sports clubs should be replaced with graffiti that promote urban culture and freedom. We do not want to be conquered with "entrepreneurial architecture", meaning that old buildings would be demolished and new impersonal objects would be built. We do not want to become a new version of Vračar. This part of the city was urbanized 100 years ago and we want to preserve its omnipresent spirit!

We do not want to have a garage for buses in the center of Belgrade, but rather to have cultural and congress center in the very heart of Belgrade!

We do not want to be part of the route through which dangerous goods are transported, but to have the green, open space with parks and recreation center. We want more cultural institutions and events in the Donji Dorćol. In the end we want the Donji Dorcol to be an attractive and desirable place to live. We want to increase the value of Donji Dorcol's apartments and shops, which is, and always will be, the heart of Belgrade.
